Adventure Time Inspired Series - Jake the Dog

Jake the Dog! I have finally decided to base a look on him. He's so cute, probably my favourite dog of all cartoon history. See, Santa's Little Helper is adorable, as is the Tramp etc... but... Jake farts to great comedic effect just like a real dog. He also has stretchy powers, is boyfriend to Lady Rainicorn, and sings pretty well. So here it is - my Jake based eye using Sugarpill Buttercupcake (easily my favourite yellow eyeshadow).

More photos and details if you click below.

Products
Base - Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original, NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk (lid and under brow), Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero (crease).
Eyeshadows - Inglot DS 496 (shimmery white), Urban Decay Blackout (matte black), Sugarpill Buttercupcake (lower lash line), Urban Decay Vanilla (to blend lower lash line into inner corner).
Eyeliner - Tightlined and lined top lid with Urban Decay Zero 24/7 eyeliner pencil, set with Urban Decay Blackout.
Mascara - Maybelline Great Lash in Black (an oldy but a goody!)
Lashes - Ardell Demi 103 lashes (my first natural human hair lashes and I'm impressed... possibly even converted by the ease of application.)
Brows - Urban Decay Blackout eyeshadow.
Face - A mix of Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain and Illamasqua Skinbase foundation in 07. Powdered with E.L.F translucent powder. Blusher was NARS Taj Mahal (a rusty orange colour).

My new goodies came today so I promptly added some of them to the look of course! I used MAC Pro Longwear lip pencil in What a Blast! with MAC Morange lipstick on top. It has stayed on through a brisk walk and two drinks. I love it! I got 10% off so I'm really glad I like them both... I love the smell of MAC lipsticks so they're a new favourite now that I am branching out into lip schtuff.

Hope you're having a good Thursday.

  1. Your blusher makes you look really cute in the fifth picture, and I'm jealous of your cut crease skills! You should do a Cake the cat look as well. :)
