Here are two looks from my last two days off - last Sunday and last Wednesday. I won't have another day off until next Sunday (a week tomorrow) but hey-ho. Mustn't complain. There was a point in January where I only got 3 days a week, and now I have 10 days in a row, four of which are later nights on top of that (9am-11pm)... madness! Think of the make-up... well that's how I'll get through it, anyway. And I have my London trip to look forward to. We've arranged to see Wicked on the West End, bonus. In the day at work I never wear exciting make-up (it would clash with my fetching bright red uniform), but days off are make-up days. So here goes:
This look used UDPP slapped all over, Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy on the lid with Sugarpill Goldilux patted on top, Illamasqua e/s in Sadist for a crease colour and Kryolan cream liner in aqua blue on the waterline. Blended with a neutral matte shadow from a free-gift Clinique palette for the brow and inner corner highlight. Illamasqua Abyss precision ink and Boujois Volumizer mascara.
It felt a bit Egyptian. I like that.

Here I used UDPP, MAC Wisteria from my Dame Edna eyeshadow trio on the lid, Sugarpill Afterparty e/s in the crease, Sugarpill Magentric e/s over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy under the eye and Kryolan Cream liner in aqua blue on the waterline. Illamasqua Precision Ink in Abyss as liner and Boujois Volumizer mascara.
I badly want new bright coloured gel liners for use on the waterline and as bases. I have a pack of mini UD-24/7 liners but I struggle to get them to apply on my soggy wet waterline as they seem quite waterproof. I plan to stop by at the London branch of Inglot when I'm daaaown saaaaouff to pick up some of theirs!

ReplyDeleteI want MAC Stars and Rockets! - there's a similar colour in one of my Dame Edna trios called 'Dame's Desire' but it doesn't have the duo chrome. Yeah, Stars and Rockets WANT! x
