After the bright look I posted yesterday, I decided to make this look using all the colours I didn't use on the other look (hence opposite). The only repeated colour was the dusty lavender and blurple shades from my Inglot palette.
Products
Base - UDPP in Eden, NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk (both all over eye and underneath).
Eyeshadows - Sleek Curacao palette - Blue Hawaiian (matte light blue), Inglot DS 496 (glittery white, inner corner), 379 (matte lavender), 388 (matte blurple), AMC 74 (Glittery raspberry), 352 (matte skintone to blend), AMC 65 (glittery black to darken crease), AMC 51 (glittery bright orange, outer corner underneath eye), Illamasqua Trollop (matte peach, inner lower lid).
Liner/Mascara - Boujois Clubbing Liner Intense (Black), Inglot AMC matte gel liners in 79 and 84 (red and yellow) mixed together (orange waterline), Boujois Volumizer in Black.
Face - MAC prep and prime skin visage base, Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain mixed with Illamasqua Rich Liquid foundation in 140 for extra coverage, Benefit Posie Tint, set with Clinique translucent blend loose powder.
Lips - Sleek Papaya Punch matte True Colour lipstick and some balm.
Thanks for stopping by, I am trying to post more regularly and so far enjoying it. Just got the news about Amy Winehouse and for whatever reason (it's not like this hasn't been looming for a while) I am quite upset. More upset than about Lucian Freud but well... he lived a full life. Hope you're having a fun weekend.

I EFFIN LOVE THIS. It's SOOOOO PRETTY! The colors are so interesting and different but they work so nicely together. A beautifully well thought out and executed look. Obsessed.

Cute, cute, cute! And lovely blending. You looks SO HAPPY AND SQUEE in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I love the orange waterline!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I love the orange waterline :)
ReplyDeleteMeredith - I thought the colours were kind of grotty and that's why it works. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteRobyn - Thought I should do a happy picture for once (I do a really poser myspace face most of the time, innit)
As for blending I use the trick I saw xsparkage do on youtube - just blend the hell out of the edges with matte skintone shadows, ALL the way around. Otherwise I find blending difficult because I get impatient.
Vulcan/Lillian - I felt like it was a genius idea to mix two gel liners. I need some darker ones then I bet I could make any colour and this thought gets me too excited because I have no life. Oops... :D
