Last of the July 2011 EOTDs

These are my last few looks from July. Where has the first half of the year gone? Ah!
I thought I'd do a little end of the month round up with these as there's nothing too unusual about them, but I feel like they're worth posting. I was trying out my The Balm eyeshadows and Hot Mama blush and the gel liner as a base technique.

Products under the cut.

Dark-blue smokey Products -
Base - UDPP in Eden and NYX Jumbo pencil in milk on inner corner (does this go without saying?)
Eyeshadows - The Balm Luscious Lani and Risque Renee (which does kinda look purple on me!), Sleek Hummingbird (shimmering blue teal from Monaco palette) on inner 1/4 of lid, blended out with my trusty Inglot matte skintone 352 (such a dream to blend for a dark blue).
Liner/Mascara - Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Electric set with Aquamarine from Sleek Monaco pallette (less shimmery blue), Mascara was Rimmel Lash Accelerator in Black.
Face - A tiny bit of GOSH brow powder (the medium shade). I am trying to use up the remnants of my Clinique Almost Make-up in shade 01. It's too dark for me, it made me look orange in the photos, set with the Clinique Translucent mix powder. Blush was The Balm Hot Mama (the most easy to apply powder blush I have ever owned and my new favourite, it creates an almost highlighter effect at the edges).

Yellow and dark-blue Products -
Base - UDPP in Eden, NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk (inner corner, outer side flick and under eye) and Inglot AMC gel liner 84 (bright matte yellow).
Eyeshadows - Fyrinnae Banana Mochi (shimmering pale yellow), Sugarpill Buttercupcake, The Balm Risquee Renee (in crease and as liner, kinda looks grey paired with yellow, interesing!), Sugarpill chromalust in Royal Sugar (lower lash line), Inglot matte 352 to blend and DS 496 shimmering white on outer white section and as an extra bit of glittery highlight under the brow.
Liner/Mascara - Urban Decay Perversion (blackest black) on waterline, set with Risquee Renee eyeshadow. Boujois Volumizer mascara in Black (a few coats, I wanted big lashes).
Face - Brows filled in with a little GOSH brow powder, Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain, set with my trusty Clinique powder. The Balm Hot Mama blush.

ps. I still haven't sorted out a twitter account etc. I don't know where the time goes. It may happen later this evening. As always, thanks for looking.

  1. Thanks :) I think liquid liner is my comfort blanket and without it I feel ALL WRONG! xx

  2. That chartreuse color in the second look is SICKENING. I dig it! And good for you for stepping outside your comfort zone, I'm the same way about fake eyelashes nowadays but I'm not as brave as you to try and pull off a look without them.

  3. Beautiful! I love the blue waterline of the first and the colour combination of the second.

  5. I like the one with the yellow on the lid! It really stands out against your haircolour.
