GIANT PHOTO DUMP

Four of my favourite work looks so far. Eep. Need to get into a routine of posting. (ps. some of these pictures are VERY posed and silly, but they show the make-up quite well, no?)

Before I got my new 15 palette of MAC shadows, I was faking it with other brands. My brows are Illamasqua Sadist and an Inglot lilac and turquoise blue (I always run a bit of concealer thru my brows to help them adhere and be bright, at the moment Studio Sculpt NW20)  Lid is Old Gold pigment over Urban Decay Baked 24/7 pencil (shhh, it's contraband). Crease colours are Inglot (brown and black glittery ones). I did two little wings of liner, one underneath my lower lashes, and a gold Bodyshop liner inbetween (again, sssh, I had to pretend it was Superslick liquid liner). Lashes are my trusty number 48s. Foundation is Studio Fix Fluid in NW15. I pretty much contour everyday with Harmony blusher. More under the cut.

MAC Crystal on inner lid and Plumage in crease/outer v (over Soft Ochre paint pot), Brule to blend, brows are finally Vibrant Grape, Atlantic Blue and Electric Eel.

Using Cranberry and Carbon with number 48 lashes. Urban Decay Whiskey 24/7 pencil in the waterline (again, ssssh if anyone asks it was MAC Coffee pencil), set with Embark eyeshadow.

You can tell I was proud of this look from the amount of photos (sorry about that). Getting better with the shape of the eyebrows; I went for a full 50's arch and was complimented by a couple of customers which pretty much made my week. The eyeshadows are Satin Taupe, Plumage, Carbon, Lucky Green and Brule for this look.  Foundation was Sculpt NW20 (I have samples of the foundations, I'm not made of money...) with MSF Natural in Light Plus to set. Harmony blush as contour, Dollymix as blush. I put on Kangarouge lipstick when I got to work (didn't want to smudge it all over my face on the walk/train in).

Thanks for looking, 'happy holidays' (apparently at work we're not supposed to say Merry Christmas but the Christmas album playlist would beg to differ) and I'll be back soon,

Ruth x
