Daphne Guinness Work EOTDs and Some Nail Schtuff

Using Circa Plum and Nebula pigments from the Daphne Guinness collection (Electric Eel and Plumage brows, and a little bit of Carbon eyeshadow was used to darken crease). Funny I should do turquoise greeny brows when I'm hiding most of my turquoise greeny hair with this high pony tail.

Spot the difference - above and below were two separate days. Aurora pigment with Copperplate in the crease and Brule to blend. Second look (below) uses Circa Plum under bottom lashes (not as intense as I had hoped).

These looks (there were two others I forgot to photograph... oops) constitute my last full-time working week at the MAC counter. I'll be doing three days a week for the foreseeable future, so (apart from today and yesterday where I've been make-up free) expect more (probably) unwearable make-up experiments from my face coming up!
I haven't even tried out the Interior Life quad that Temptalia so hated. A lot of the girls at work seem to really love it, and I've seen some jaw-dropping looks created with it. I might go in early one day and force someone into trying it out on me (har!)

My nails this week have been Illamasqua Shrapnel -above- and Sally Hansen (Complete Salon Manicure) Midnight in NY nail polish -below-. I got the former in the Illamasqua winter sale, worth every penny, and the latter with a bright blue duochromey one I cannot wait to try at Boots (on offer buy 1 get 1 half price). And to think I only called in on my lunchbreak for polish remover.

More to come soon enough, thanks for looking...
Ruth xx

PS I hope you like my new header, made by my younger brother to my specific specifications. I wanted to simplify my style for a while. Makes the crazy colours stand out well, no?

PPS Check out my enormous new 72ml bottle of Lumos fast drying top coat. I've read nothing but good things about this, and it was a bargain at 14.99 (plus postage) from ebay. Nothing can stop me now!
