Pastel and Grey Cut-Crease EOTD

I wore this look for work and was surprised it turned out so well as it took me only 20 minutes in the morning. (Usually I take longer, but I didn't use foundation or liquid liner, I guess... More under the cut.)

I am finding in my search for the perfect cut-crease that I have to draw the line higher than my natural crease and sort of let my eye sag and look down at the mirror like in this photo above (not hold it taut whilst working). I find this really tricky but I'm getting the knack now and it's quite satisfying... yay!

Products
Eye Base - UDPP Eden, Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye-pencil in Gunmetal (for crease and under lower eyelashes), NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk (on lid).
Eyeshadows - Urban Decay 15th Anniversary palette eyeshadows in Tainted (inner corner), Ace (gunmetal crease - preferable to Gunmetal from the Naked palette only because it lacks glitter) and a touch of Blackout (to define outer crease), followed by Tequila Sunrise (orange) and Green Iguana (green) from Sleek Curacao palette. I used a touch of Inglot skintone (352) eyeshadow to help me blend the edges.
Liner/Mascara/Brows - Waterline filled in with Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye-pencil in Electric with a little Sugarpill Afterparty patted on top to set. Mascara was Rimmel Lash Accelerator in Black. Brows were the lightest colour from the GOSH eyebrow powder trio.
Face - I didn't even fancy wearing tinted moisturizer this day. I used my trusty Collection 2000 concealer in Light and a touch of my usual Clinique loose-powder to set. Blush was MAC Bite of an Apple (l/e from Venomous Villains collection).

I have never received so many compliments for my eye make-up. That's not bragging. I was pleased with it myself, but I didn't expect every other customer to say what was said. It was a joyous day. Hope you're all having a good week, too.

  1. Oooooh, that's super cool! I have to do that if I want a cut crease as well, I have to draw it waaaaay higher than my acutal crease... then I have no browbone left D:
