Disney sidekick - Pascal (from Tangled) inspired EOTD

My new favourite Disney Sidekick and I'll tell you why. I rented Tangled and watched it twice in a row. Pascal is incredible. He's so expressive. He turns blue and red when scared/angry but green is probably my second favourite colour at the minute and I had wanted to do some green eyeshadow today so it all worked out. I tried to keep it rounded and lighter in the centre like real chameleons. I held a chameleon once on a school trip. It had awesome eyes and feet, all swivelly (shut up it is a word).

My fringe would not behave and got a firm hair-clipping!

Products
Base - UDPP in Eden, Illamasqua cream pigment in Bedaub (centre lid) and Jumbo Pencil in Milk (inner corner and lower lash line), Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy under the eye.
Eyeshadows - Inglot matte grass green 384 concentrated on inner and outer  sides of crease and glitter chartreuse AMC 59 in centre of lid. Matte skintone 352 to blend. MAC Newly Minted (for blending crease) and Sugarpill Chromalust in Tipsy (lower lashline/inner corner).
Eyeliner/Mascara - Illamasqua medium pencil in Vow (waterline, to make my eyes look rounder/bigger) Boujois Clubbing Liner in Black (not flicked out so eyes looked rounder... hopefully) and Boujois Volumizer mascara in Black.
Eyebrows -  Kryolan aqua blue coloured cream liner and Illamasqua matte blue eyeshadow in Sadist.
Face - Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain, set with a tiny bit of Clinique powder (I have noticed this is too yellow for my skin even though it's supposedly translucent so I would like a new powder soon, possibly Kryolan anti-shine) and a little Guerlain pressed meteorites powder in Mythic Parfait (I wanted a little glow). Blusher was from the MAC l/e Venomous Villains collection - Cruella's Darkly my Dear.

I'm still working my way through my nail polish hoard. Here is Illamasqua Lament, which they've put in a new collection called Magenta Muse. This collection is disappointing because it's all from the permanent range. In some ways I applaud Illamasqua for this as nothing ever sells out forever as with MAC. But you know... new stuff is exciting! Make new stuff guys!
Anyway, I picked it up on sale from asos.com about two weeks ago. It's a lovely cream coral pink colour, brighter on the nail than I thought it would be from the bottle. I put a coat of Illamasqua Prism on top of a few nails just for an extra little something. Makes them look pinker, nearly neon, when it catches the light.
My index finger appears to be dirty, looks like the hair dye to me. It seems to have stopped transferring onto everything now. Fingers crossed. I still have a black sheet wrapped around my red bedding just incase!

Disney sidekick - Mrs Potts inspired FOTD

I am still finding my feet with this blue eyebrow stuff. I think I like today's method best... so far. I like Mrs Potts. She's a good woman. The fact that she probably ended up with Cogsworth makes me feel bad for her. She could do so much better.

Products
Base - UDPP in Eden, NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk.
Eyeshadows - Inglot matte pink eyeshadow (362) and both their shimmer and matte white (DS 496 and 373), Blush (light matte pink) from the Sleek Paraguaya palette, Royal Tour and Dame's Desire (from Royal tour trio from Dame Edna l/e MAC collection), Sugarpill Poison Plum (crease).
Eyeliner/tightline/waterline - Inglot yellow liner (AMC 84), Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero (set into tightline with matte black from Sleek Acid palette) Kryolan aqua blue cream liner (waterline).
Mascara - Rimmel Lash Accelerator in Black.
Eyebrows - Kryolan aqua blue cream liner and Illamasqua Sadist (matte blue).
Foundation/Concealer/Blusher - Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain, Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in Light, set with Guerlain pressed meteorites powder in Mythic Parfait (for a more summery glow to skin), MAC beauty powder in Pretty Baby (Hello Kitty l/e).
Lips - Sleek lipstick in Mystic with Inglot Sleeks cream lipgloss 97 in the centre.
(Sorry for the pouting face >.<)

I put the shimmery white all the way under my eye but it didn't show up how I wanted. On the facechart I had drawn yellow the entire perimeter of my eye and it just seemed too much. This didn't turn out completely to plan but then what does when I'm concerned! C'est la vie! I'm going to take this moment to say thanks for all the lovely comments I've been receiving lately, it really makes this a fun hobby.

My younger brother is making me a new header for up above this blog today. The black is getting me down, and also it's pretty soulless. It's not very "me". Can't wait to see what he comes up with.

Disney Sidekick Pain and Panic/Vani inspired EOTD

I had wanted to do a blue and red eye-look inspired by Pain and Panic from Disney's Hercules since I first started the *sort of* series I have going. (So far I did Zazu (Lion King), Flit (Pocahontas) and Mushu (Mulan) incase you missed it.)
I always love seeing Disney themed looks on other blogs and on youtube so I'm continuing with it.

Look at those little guys. The comic relief of Hercules. My hair is partly inspired by their master Hades too, as he is blue through and through ("aye- verse- oi!"

Another awesome blue haired person is Vani the shop girl (who along with Yuka models for and sells Japanese brand 6%Dokidoki). Isn't she awesome? She wears one eye red, one eye blue quite often. I'd call it her signature eye-makeup. Well... I stole it. She first came to my attention through Shrinkle's blog, the founder of Sugarpill who I have been following online since I was about 16. Yes, I am an internet stalker.
In honour of this obsession fact the main lid colours for each eye are from Sugarpill (Love+ and Afterparty).

Products
Base - UDPP in Eden, NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk (inner corner).
Eyeshadows on blue side - MAC Wisteria eyeshadow (Light blue from l/e Dame Edna trio), Sugarpill Afterparty, Fyrinnae 1.22 Gigawatts (crease), Inglot .
Eyeshadows on red side - Urban Decay Heat deluxe eyeshadow, Sugarpill Love+, Inglot raspberry red (AMC 74) and matte skintone (352) and white (373) to blend to brow.
Liner - Blue Kryolan cream liner, Red Inglot gel liner (79), UD Perversion to tightline/on waterline (set with black from Sleek Acid palette).
Mascara - Boujois Volumizer in Black.
Brows - Fyrinnae 1.22 gigawatts mixed with Illamasqua sealing gel.
Face - Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain, Clinique translucent powder, Sleek blush in Santorini and some MAC beauty powder in Pretty Baby to tone it down a bit (from Hello Kitty l/e collection).

My brows would work better this way if I had no brow hairs. I don't know if I dare go there. I'm sure I'll figure out smart blue brows soon.
Thanks for looking,

Mushu inspired EOTD

Red and gold go together really well, like on a bejeweled crown, a ruby ring... or an animated dragon from a Disney cartoon. I like Mushu (from Mulan), and this look is inspired by him. I might even start a series of Disney sidekick character eye-looks (e.g Lumiere, Zazu, Gus or Flit - just off the top of my head). That sounds like fun, right?

Products
Base: Urban Decay Primer Potion (original, I am yet to crack open Eden), UD 24/7 liner in Baked (under gold to help it stick).
Eyeshadows: Sugarpill Goldilux, Love+, Flamepoint (to blend down red onto lid) and Dollipop (to blend out red to brow) and a touch of Inglot AMC 74 (Raspberry) to darken the crease slightly and matte 352 (skintone) to blend right up to brow.
Eyeliner: Boujois Clubbing Liner Intense in Black.
Mascara: Boujois Volumizer (step 2 then step 1 to comb it through, yeah I like it backwards best...)
Brows: Clinique free-gift greyish brown eyeshadow.
Foundation: Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in Porcelain.
Blush: MAC cream blush in Posey.
Powder: A mix of Clinique translucent to set oily areas (like my nose, forehead, chin) and Guerlain pressed meteorites powder in Mythic Parfait on less oily areas (for a little glow).
Lips: Just some strawberry balm.
