Schtuff (a "haul" from Update, Models Own and an SPC order)

Looksee all the stuff I got this time at update! Schweet. I'm in the process of thinking through what things to giveaway... I am particularly fond of Black Swan pearlglide eyeliner and Vivid Effect nail polish (from Reel Sexy collection). So they are certainly staying. And the Prep + Prime skin smoother, because it's delicious. Also, I really want to get some more of the products from the Hey Sailor collection (there is a red lipstick with my name on it...)

I got some new Models Own nail polishes recently. Just because. I've not used any of these yet, as I am in the process of re-growing my nails (they'd become peely and I got tired of it). I chose Red-brown (urm, this one came without the plastic wrap and smudged ink on the label... it's weird and a bit gross) and Blue-violet Beetlejuice ones, Concrete Mixer, Beach Party and Indian Ocean.
If you buy five you save some money but... why, yes, I am a nail polish hoarder. Thanks for noticing.

I ordered C1, C4 and C7 Face and Body foundations only to find out that the darkest was out of stock (upon arrival). Will pick that up soon. May also get a light, medium and dark in N undertones next time, too. I want white from the Pro store, too... Feels like it's neverending! I also got four pairs of lashes #3, 2 x #4 and #7 (for weddings and/or me, we'll see!) and some more Brush Cleanser. Fix+ turned out to also be out of stock. Grr... it wasn't when I clicked order. Sort it out!

I tried to order heavy things from the internet so I don't have to carry it home. Better luck next time!

Pastel Leopard Nails

I went a bit mad with many pastel shades (eight in total) on Saturday night. Yes, I have no life.

I used Blow (baby yellow), Wayward (yellow), Lament (coral) and Jo'Mina (warm lilac) from Illamasqua, Inglot 337 (baby pink), Barry M Spring Green (bright green) and Mint Green (pastel green) as well as Model's Own Beth's Blue (blue lilac) and my only (nearly all gone) cream black - Essie Liquorice.

It is still on my nails now through a day of work, a day of rest and a scary as Hell interview. I predict I'll keep it for a good while longer, because it's cheery and chunky and I like that. When I get paid, I am getting a nail oil, creams just aren't cutting it. My cuticles and nail-side-bits (finger edges?) shame me.

Summery Sky Eyes

When I was playing make-up artist with Emily (in the previous post) this was the make-up I was rockin'. It is my Inglot blue (371) and lilac (379), the tearduct had AMC Shine 28 over NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk with a dark Inglot brown (378) in the crease. This was my first try of UDPP Eden and I like it. It does seem to work best with mattes. I used my Kryolan gel liner in aqua blue on the waterline and my usual mascara and eyeliner. I tried out the middle colour from my new swapped GOSH eyebrow set, I like it. It's a really precise, fine powder and I think it works well.

My nails that day were Grace Green from Model's Own with Inglot 204 blue flakie on four of the nails. I clearly needed to moisturize my cuticles >.< sorry.

I am currently in the process of dyeing my hair blue. Eep!

Silver Blue EOTD and my first crackle(!) NOTD

Products
Base: UDPP and NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk
Shadows: White metallic Make-up Academy £1 eyeshadow (inner corner), Sugarpill Chromalust in Tiara (lid), Illamasqua Sadist (crease), Inglot matte white to blend up to brow
Liner: Boujois Liner clubbing intense in Black
Mascara: Rimmel Lash Accelerator
Brows: Free grey/brown eyeshadow (Clinique gift thingy)
Foundation: Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain and Clinique translucent powder
Blush: tiny bit of NARS Taj Mahal and lots of MAC Venomous Villains Bite of an Apple blushers.

Crackles are everywhere and I had previously thought they weren't for me but then I saw the periwinkle Barry M blue crackle (called 315 Blue Effect) and I wanted it. Plus I had enough points on my Boots card to get the two for £5 deal FOR FREE. (So far, I have done this twice - my favourite way to spend Boots points!) I simply layered it ontop of the Models Own/Illamasqua - Beth's Blue/Prism combination. I also got the white one... Free!

What do you think of crackles? I quite fancy the China Glaze metallic ones... but I've got so many untried nail products it all seems too excessive. Maybe one day!

Simple Matching Summery EOTD and NOTD

Products
Base: UDPP, Illamasqua cream pigment in Bedaub
Shadows: Fyrinnae Anemone and Cupcake Sprinkles
Liner: Boujois Liner Clubbing Intense in Black
Mascara: Rimmel Lash Accelerator in Black
Foundation: Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in Porcelain. Clinique translucent powder on nose chin. Guerlain pressed meteorites powder in Mythic Parfait under eyes/on cheekbones
Blush: MAC Wonder Woman Amazon Princess blush (both colours swirled together)
Brows: Natural. Either forgot or couldn't be bothered to fill them in.
Nails: Essie ridge-filling base coat, Models Own Beth's Blue (a blue/lilac colour, I bought three of their colours recently and if this is anything to go by, their formula is very good! I approve!) EDIT: I forgot that I had added Illamasqua Prism on top of this colour before I took these photos (it added a lovely pale blue sheen in the sunlight), Essie Good to Go fast drying top-coat.

I have recently switched to a glass file, as I had run out of my cheapo sandpapery emery boards, and I loooove it. It's so much smoother and easier to control.
